Updating lab website

Our lab website is hosted on Squarespace. To edit the website, log in with the lab account here: .
Adding publications: The most commonly updated page of the website is the "Publications" page. Each time a lab paper is accepted by a journal, we add the APA reference to the Publications page of the website alongside a link to the OSF preprint and repository. The kbh.coordinator email account is set up with Google Scholar notifications that include Krista's name, to more easily keep track of new publications. Krista will also mention new publications at lab meetings. Make sure to stay on top of this, as people are often looking for new publications from the lab!
New members: When new members join the lab, we like to invite them to send us a short blurb to post on our "" page alongside a headshot in front of the "lab tree" (one of the trees that live on the main staircase in SP – it's tradition by this point!). We also usually invite folks to list the languages they know/are learning. If a lab member doesn't want to be added the website, that's totally fine!
When a lab member moves on from the lab, we move their photo from the active members portion of the "Meet the Team" page, into the "Alumni" section at the bottom. We list their former position and their years active in the lab.
Krista's CV also regularly gets updated on the lab website! Usually she will send the lab manager either an updated CV, or a CV to be edited/updated, a couple times a year – this is a good time to upload it to the website!
Other aspects of the website that can be updated occasionally include photos (adding photos of participants – with a signed media release – or lab group photos is always a good idea!), media coverage (interviews, lay articles, podcasts, etc.), or the "Join" page when there may be new information for potential lab members.
It is also important to keep the English and French pages of the website as identical as possible! We don't want any information missing from either language.
