The Fonds de recherche du Québec offers scholarships to foreign students. Doctoral research scholarship provide $25,000 a year (for a maximum of 3 years). Check if you are eligible at the link below:
This competition has two stages: Concordia's internal pre-selection and then FRQNT's competition. First, you would need to apply to Concordia's internal process (you can find the instructions here). If you are selected, the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) will let you know around September. FRQNT will also contact you with instructions on how to apply on their portal.
Note: Master's students and postdocs are also eligible for this scholarship.
