PROJECTS ON SERVER- Before you leave the lab, make sure that all the projects you are leading have a folder within the lab server. The project folder should be identified with the year it was created plus the project's short name (e.g. 2024_TriCog). Inside each project folder there should be sub-folders including Writing (all the manuscript versions and abstracts), Presentations (all the posters and PPTs created for that project), Data (storage of all the data relevant to that project), Experiment program (stimuli, oder counterbalancing sheet, and experiment programming files like eyetrackinig, pavlovia, open sesame, etc.), Binder documents (all the recruitment, consents, and other relevant documents used during the study). You must make sure all these subfolders are complete and well documented before you leave the lab.

DATA SAVING- Before you offborad, make sure all the data collected for a project you were leading is stored in the lab server. This includes Participant videos, eye-tracking data, HPP data, tablet data, and online questionnaire data. A document or cvs file should include a key to match anonymized baby ID's to lab baby ID's. Non anonymized data should only be kept on the lab server (never on github or the OSF). The folder storing data should also contain a read-me document or a data book, to help other users understand the structure of your data.

RETURNING EQUIPMENT- You must make sure to return all equipment in your possetion (including at home and at your office) that was purchased by the lab. This includes monitors, headphones, furniture, cameras, etc. Also, make sure your login information is removed from all software licenses. This includes the Lena log book, web CDI, Qualtrics, lab email, etc.

ADDING SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS- Make sure that you have shared your successful application documents for grants, conferences, funding, grad school, post-doctoral positions, and other working positions. You should share them in the lab's

UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION- Make sure the lab has information about where to reach you after you leave the lab (e.g. after you no longer have a concordia email account). This way we can keep you up to date and contact you about ongoing or future collaborations.
