Participant Gift Cards

Researcher:
Email with the participant email address, the type of gift card (usually Amazon), and the amount. Also helpful to include study name and study ID (but not baby ID, for confidentiality!).
Lab Manager:
Log into Amazon
Click “Returns and Orders”
Scroll to find the most recent gift card sent, and highlight the bilingual message text. Copy this.
Click on the title of the sent gift card (usually “Amazon.ca gift card”
Create the new gift card by pasting the message you copied into the “Message” box (make sure you override the default message!), changing the amount and email address, and adding the image
To add the image, click the big plus sign that says “add your photo or video”. Navigate to the lab server “Logo” folder and choose the file called “LogoWithLabName-Coloured.png”. Check the box indicating the photo meets the Amazon content guidelines, and then click “use this image”.
Double check the amount and email address
Click “Buy Now” and complete the purchase
