# Health

811 is a great number to call if you’re wondering whether you should see a doctor/ go to the ER for a health issue. If you need to go to the ER and you have the mobility and time to choose your ER, the [GoWell ](https://gowell.ca/en/emergencies)website is useful to estimate wait times.

Concordia Health services is pretty great for non-urgent health care. Check the concordia website for the number to call for appointments, you leave a voicemail and they call you back the same day. You usually get an appointment within 1-2 weeks. Once you find a doctor you like, you can request the same doctor over and over.
