Amazon gift cards

Ordering participant gift cards is a particular task that may require lots of Amazon purchases on the P Card. If compensation for a particular study involves sending a gift card as compensation, it is very important to make sure that each card has a participant in mind at the time of purchase (that is, don't mass purchase all the gift cards you expect to need for a study!). Financial services will not approve a gift card purchase unless it is clearly linked to a participant. To do this, we attached an anonymized list of participants to any expense report that contains gift cards, listing the BabyID (anonymous identifier), Study Name and Date Purchased – we state that we have a list of unanonymized participants but will not share this unless required by an audit, for ethical reasons.
