Subscriptions and Purchase Requisitions

The following recurring subscription services are currently charged to the lab’s PCard. As of mid-2025, all such expenses require annual review and approval by IITS. A Purchase Requisition (PR) must be submitted via Unity prior to the charge being made, and the approved PR must be attached to the expense report at the time of submission.

Reminders have been set up in the kbh.coordinator@concordia.ca inbox to notify the lab manager approximately two months before each expense report is due.

Submitting a Purchase Requisition

For all software/subscription renewals, submit a non-catalogue PR through Unity on behalf of Krista Byers-Heinlein, using the following details:

  • Address: PY033.08

  • Account: Select the appropriate Internal Order for the lab

  • Attachments: Include a current quote or receipt and any prior approval documentation for PCard use (if applicable)

  • It is important to leave a comment stating that you do not need a Purchase Order to be sent to the vendor, and the purpose of your PR is simply to acquire approval to charge these expenses to the P Card.

See: KBH-Admin → Accounting → Expense Reports for additional details and sample PRs.
