Undergraduate project students

Undergraduate project students should expect mentorship on their project from Krista, and in most cases, a senior lab member (i.e., grad student or postdoc). Usually, undergraduate project students work on a branch of a project led by a senior grad student, so this person will be primarily responsible for providing guidance on the project. Krista usually still likes regular check-ins (see page on ), so she can double check that the project is moving at an appropriate pace and is going smoothly. Project students should feel comfortable going to their grad student or postdoc and/or Krista with any questions project related.
In addition to mentorship on the project, students should feel free and are encouraged to ask questions about anything grad school related, or about post-graduation career planning. Krista likes to provide guidance and mentorship to encourage the success of her students. Senior lab members (grad students, postdocs and the lab manager) are also very happy to help you out with anything you are uncertain about. We are all here to help you!
