Grad student bursary
Often, to supplement a grad student's funding Krista will submit a top-up stipend for them. This bursary is submitted on the Graduate Studies Bursary form (found here).
Updated Jan 2026, email chain approvals are no longer sufficient. The form must have signatures directly embedded. The lab manager will add the student's and Krista's digital signatures directly to the form before sending through the email chain of approvals (you can do this with Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator, or there are online tools where you can upload a photo of a signature and they will create a digital version).
First, send an email to the graduate student asking them to look over the information to ensure it's accurate, and then forward it to Krista stating their approval in the body of the email. Then, Krista will look over the form and send her approval to the Psychology Chair stating her approval. The Chair will finally send their approval to the payroll for processing. You should also CC the chair's assistant (psychology@concordia.ca). See an example email below.
